Growing up close to my grandfather, I was raised in a very artistic environment. Under his wing, I got to grow up learning artistic thought from an Art Center Alumni. I had the benefit of learning sculpting, photography, drawing, drafting, woodwork, but most of all the power of a thumbnail. Experiencing him with his work and dedication to his craft gave me the foundation to build on!

I have been working with 3D for over 20years now. I started with 3D in High School. It was first introduced to me in a drafting class I took. The software was called 3DS2 (Before it became 3DMax) and you had to run it through DOS. It was such a nightmare to work with and I haven't put it down since! Southern California is where I've called home since 2001. I moved here and attend Laguna College of Art and Design to pursue a degree in Illustration. In 2006 I graduated with a B.F.A. in illustration with a strong concentration in multimedia design.

Professionally I have been working for Applied Medical Resources for the last 10+ years. During my tenure here, I have been fortunate enough to develop my artistic skill set merging my 3D work and illustration together. The 3D industry has seen so many changes and improvements. As a result, traditional artist have begun to embrace the digital realm, as have I!

3D has always been a huge interest of mine. But my passion will always be with traditional illustration. These days however, I don't really get to do too much of it.

I work full time for Applied Medical as a senior multimedia designer. I provide 3D animation and illustration assets for Applied Medical. This helps to contribute to the look and feel of the Applied Medical brand. My work is used for educating surgeons regarding the use of innovative surgical instruments. My work is seen most with trade-show displays, publications, and website use. In creating these Animations I supervised several of the aspects involved: Digital Sculpting, Animation, Rendering, Render Wrangling, Composites and Editing. With that I supervised each project's pipeline.
